ALPINNO GmbH is a Swiss consulting and technology company that combines senior expertise with a network of specialists, bringing together the right capabilities for each engagement.

Pier Paolo Monticone established Monticone Consulting in 2021, building a commercial track record in AI transformation, AI-assisted data-driven innovation, intellectual-property creation and workflows, and Agile execution across R&D and new-product development. In 2025, ALPINNO GmbH was incorporated to scale this work and extend the established consulting model with proprietary software, licensing and deployment through AIdea™.
Consulting, training and coaching, and hands-on implementation remain core ALPINNO services. AIdea™ is both the platform ALPINNO uses internally to deliver AI-assisted, data-driven innovation projects and a product that can be deployed and licensed for client teams. Services and software can be engaged independently or combined according to the client's objectives, capabilities, data requirements and technology environment.
Each engagement has clear senior leadership, with Pier Paolo Monticone as the client’s main point of contact. ALPINNO brings in trusted specialists according to the project’s needs and works alongside the client’s own team. Progress is reviewed together so priorities and delivery can adapt as needs evolve.

About the Founder
Pier Paolo Monticone, PhD ETH, MAS ETH MTEC and PMP, is the founder and Managing Director of ALPINNO GmbH. He works directly with clients, bringing more than 15 years of experience in innovation, R&D, product development and programme management.

- Founder of EyeTech, an ETH spin-off created to commercialise a patent developed during his PhD.
- Named inventor or co-inventor on 270 patent records and invited speaker at 20+ international conferences.
- His PhD at ETH Zurich focused on a high-performance medical device for ophthalmic applications. He also holds advanced product-owner and Agile facilitation certifications.
