Art, method and authorship in the age of AI

A documented AI-assisted process, informed by Gigi Montico’s artistic archive and practice, generated 1,000 images. Montico reviewed them without knowing the generation conditions and recognised 11 as part of his artistic practice. The project explores the role of human choice in artistic authorship.

Creativity in practice. The collaboration reflects ALPINNO’s interest in understanding creative processes and using AI to support people in developing, judging and recognising new ideas.
